Have We Got A Story For YOU!!! Truly this is one of the best Christmas Scripts out there! Thank you Aaron Reynolds for your excellent writing. Our presentations were so well received, "I thought I was on Broadway," and "This was the best Christmas play I have ever seen," were some of the comments. The true message of what we are really celebrating and God's plan of redemption made it a winner in everyone's eyes. We were able to re-produce the music, but I would recommend that Willow Creek offers a soundtrack so this production becomes a more viable option for other churches or organizations who do not have the ability to pull it off.

Christmas Tale Loved this! Definitely a bigger Christmas piece, and used it for worship services. Powerful. Make sure to get the banner done in plenty of time to make sure you get to rehearse with it several times.

A Christmas Tale This was an incredible Christmas musical to do when your congregation size is rather small. It was an amazing outreach for us and our congregation loved it. The message of Jesus Christ was so evident and it was written in a powerful way. Everyone thought it was unique as well. I would HIGHLY recommend this musical to others.
If I could suggest one thing that would be helpful it would be to have all the music available as an accompaniment track for churches who do not have the musicianship that is necessary to pull off this powerful musical.
We loved it here at New Song!!

Have I got a tale to tell! Staying up late with a dislocated shoulder injury, I found myself transfixed by this wonderful telling of the Christmas story. One of the hardest things to do as a pastor is to tell the same story over and over and over again but in new and exciting and interesting ways: this drama managed to do this! Sadly I wasn't able to use it in any form that coming Christmas as our plans were well under way.
Moving forward 12 months, I used a transcript of the drama and turned it into a voice 'play' for four speakers to launch of an additional Christmas Eve service. The effect of the voices, the arc of the story, and the wonder of the gift that is Christ at Christmas helped establish a high standard for our subsequent Christmas Eve services.
Moving forward again - to last year - our Christian Education Committee used the DVD as a Christmas "inreach" present for our families. With Willow's permission we rented a local rep-movie house and hosted two screenings of "A Christmas Tale" for our families and their friends. This drama serves as a wonderful reminder of why we celebrate Christmas - it was an antidote for all of the commercial and confusing messages that we are bombarded with at that time of year.
Now, as I am planning for our coming fall-Christmas season, the question is; ‘how can we use this excellent resource again in a new and exciting way?’ I can tell you, there are not too many resources that I can ask that question about!
Thank you to Willow for putting this resource out there for the world to use - to help others tell the tale.

Thanks! Went fabulously. We are a small Lutheran church in the central valley of Ca. The banner was the biggest challenge! Enjoyed the musical very much. It touched people while bringing a bit of contemporary flavor to our church.
