"Jarrett Stevens: . . . We see images and pictures, and you think, "I'm one person-that's 40 million people. How could I possibly make a difference?" I would love if you could help us, some thousands of miles-17 hours in a plane ride away-what can we begin to do? What can we begin to do, in this room, in this community, with our lives? What are some suggestions you have for us?

Princess Zulu: I would love to tell you that. The first thing that I'll ask all of you this morning is just to pray with us; to pray for Africa, to pray for those orphans and those widows who are the hidden faces of AIDS. Just remember those men who are dying of AIDS. Sometimes I say God could have decided any one of you to be in Africa. You would have been born in Africa. But I believe that God has blessed you. You are blessed."
