This sketch is a modern retelling of the parables of the prodigal son and the lost coin. A couple experiences great sorrow over their son who has left home. They have sold much of their valuable coin collection to try to find him. After four years, they still have not given up, but they have little hope of seeing their son again. The scene ends when the son returns, and his parents welcome him with open arms. This piece is a powerful celebration of grace, love, and finding what has been lost.
