Claire and Terry are neighbors who talk on occasion when their dogs, Jazz and Max, want to play together. During the past week Claire notices something is wrong at Terry's house. She tentatively approaches Terry's door with her dog Max and a box. Throughout the scene we discover the box is full of wedding pictures left at the curb for the garbage men. Terry was throwing them out. That broke Claire's heart and she wanted to make sure Terry really wanted to do such a thing. In an effort to reach out to her neighbor, Claire realizes Terry's pain and through a conversation she begins to make some headway with someone who so desperately needs it. A tenderhearted scene about the effort it takes to extend ourselves to each other and how even a small effort can make an impact.
