A chair that has been used in a family over the generations is the focal point of a woman's monologue that is supported by flashbacks of her parents facing the challenges of adjusting to a newborn baby, and finally by her own daughter. Used in a Willow Creek Mother's Day service, this touching scene brings attention to the sacrifices that mothers make for their children, and how the baton of motherhood gets passed from one generation to the next. Audio ends about 15 seconds before the video ends, providing a transition to the next service element.

Down to earth! This made me think of my mom and grandmother as I read this drama then saw it acted out on stage during our service. It also made me think about my son who was overseas this Mother's Day.
