The Village of Lack is a whimsical and humorous story of a foggy village full of lonely people who don’t realized the fog is growing in direct proportion to their own isolation. The more they withdraw from each other the thicker the fog grows, until eventually they actually believe they are totally alone, and even God has deserted them. It’s a drippy state of affairs until a little girl named “Likely” emerges to discover they are not in fact alone, and one of the best ways to see God is in the faces and stories of the people around you.
